Aunt Jennifer is pretty ... talented

I love these photos. She really got their personalities. Check the evil, I mean playful, gleam in Aodh's eyes.

Figgety-fig-fig!

Our yard looks all springety. Come August, breakfast will be ripening on the fig tree.

Chefs get hungry, too

Aengus came out of his cave, oops, I mean the kitchen, to feed. Also, the picture with Jo in the foreground? I almost threw it out. Too cluttered. Until I noticed something wonderful happening in the background.

Friends and neighbors

We had a pretty good group. Since we didn't do much for Alternative Thanksgiving, it was good to have a full house for another occasion.
We did, however, have to overflow into the yard and other folks' houses a tiny bit.
I can't believe I don't have a picture of Stacy! That's my chief regret.

We ate pretty well

I seem to recall Aengus earning a round of applause, in fact.

I'm thinking Kathy likes parsnips almost as much as I do.

Chocolate for breakfast

that's what the kids like.
And Aunt Jo and Aunt Kathy, too.

Lent is over!

Huzzah! I can enjoy a refreshing Diet Coke.
Looks like I should have enjoyed a shower and a hairbrush, too.

Poor Easter Bunny

He seems to have played in traffic.

Shark attack!

Or a tangle with the Beaster Bunny.
Jo's friend didn't have a happy night-before-Easter.

It's a little cold in the house right now

But Aislinn kept Aunt Jen warm.

Uranus is a gas giant

There's a certain subject that Aodh thinks is very, very funny.
It was a good weekend to be a little boy.
Grandma Mary Ellen visited. Aunt Jen came, too, and taught us how to play cheesecake pictionary.

Aunt Jen is so pretty!

We went to Busch Gardens to eat, ride, catch up, and get Jennifer's face painted. She wore it all night & it was gorgeous.

Fun with blashphemy

My friends Eric and Karen brought a sombrero back from Mexico.
It is emblazoned with a star of David. It looks good on my friendly desktop rabbi.

Our house

Here's what the renovations, and my belly fat, are looking like these days.

Aodh's science project

involved moldy ketchup and corroded metal.
Here, Aislinn helps him put his presentation together.

We hit a garage sale together.

Truth be told, it was kind of boring. So I took a picture of folks' backs.

Aislinn looks fetching

In her St. Patrick's Day shades.

Another grandmother visits

Grandmommy came to see Aislinn in her play, and also to check out the progress on the house.
Here are some photos:
